"In February I first got acquainted with Jenrick in the person of Cora Romijnders. We met in the pouring rain in front of the 'RIVM' building in Bilthoven. But the sky cleared pretty quickly because both meeting Cora and meeting the customer was very pleasant. The consequences of this meeting were quite positive.

At that moment I was still working for a mediating agency Jenrick does business with. But I already had plans to set up my own agency. Within a month 'Burer Consultantcy' existed.

As a freelancer I now really fit Jenrick's profile.

Jenrick is a very open, down-to-earth organization which pleases me. Clear communications, contact whenever it is needed and there is an openness to talk about new possibilities. Jenrick appears to go for quality and the right woman or man for the job. As a freelancer I observe this in practice with great pleasure.

At the moment I'm working on two exciting assignments simultaneously.

I am a servicedesk manager for RIVM (National Institute for Public Health & Environment). The challenge is to provide my team with enthusiasm, professionalism and the willingness to change. Now outsourcing, reorganizations and mission are important concepts. More mutual communication will develop if clear processes are started in which everyone experiences his or her own role.

Only then bottlenecks will become visible and new talents will emerge and consequently we will be working in a more flexible and challenging environment.

Apart from this I also work as a coach for VRR (safety region 'Rotterdam-Rijnmond' area). I personally coach a number of IT employees and their managers but I also guide the team to open communications and professionalism by means of 'Open Team Sessions'. A very nice, instructive and inspiring aspect of my work.
